Glassblowing is one of the more difficult techniques of glass-making, because it requires strength and precision. Timing is very important and once the glass has been shaped, it can be decorated using various finishing techniques. Our glass pieces are handcrafted and made of high quality. This elegant blue art glass duck vase measures approximately 12” tall x 6” wide. The bottom of this piece is polished flat to stand beautifully.

Actress Jean Harlow Wheaton Collectors Star Decanter

This beautiful amber color, Carnival Glass with a rainbow shimmer effect decanter, from Wheaton Glass, is a tribute to the Actress, Jean Harlow. It has her birthdate on the front: March 3, 1911 – June 7, 1937 (the date of her untimely passing). On the back it says: “The Platinum Blonde”, “The Blond Bombshell”. And lists all of her movies: “The Love Parade 1929″, Hell’s Angel’s 1930″, “Platinum Blond 1931″, “Dinner At Eight 1933″, “Saratoga 1937.” This is a rare, hard to find col (more…)
